Although Webcomic can be used with any WordPress theme a number of “official” themes also exist. If you decide to use one of these themes we strongly encourage the use of a Child Theme to prevent your changes from being lost when updates are released.

Named in honor of Nite Owl’s airship from Watchmen

An un-styled skeleton theme, Archimedes is perfect to use as a starting point for building your own Webcomic theme. Archimedes includes all of the basic Webcomic template tags in a standard two-column layout, but forgoes styling and customization options in favor of heavy direct modification.

Named in honor of Rorschach from Watchmen

The original Webcomic companion theme, Inkblot provides a clean base to begin a new Webcomic site with. Inkblot supports WordPress’ custom header and background options and provides a small number of additional layout options that allow you to easily configure the theme in one, two, or three-column layouts.
